This amp has two footswitchable channels, Classic and Ultra. Each of these channels boasts two modes: The Classic channel offers a Clean / Crunch option. The Ultra channel offers Lead 1 / Lead 2 option. Instead of merely offering a variation in gain level to the two channels, each one of these four modes has been individually voiced as an amp in its own right.

This amp has tremendous tonal versatility, a 100% pure valve signal path (4x ECC83s, 4x EL34s), Dual Reverb controls, a Tone Shift switch which 'scoops out' the mids and a Deep Switch that adds a tight, bowel loosening, low end boost.

The amps were developed out of the original Marshall circuitry to enable the musician to reproduce the classic Marshall overdrive sound at any volume level. By varying the pre-amp volume, and master volume controls the sound can be varied from a clean crisp sound to a rich overdrive sound at a controllable volume.
The master volume series have twin inputs, one having greatly increased gain. Both channels mix into the usual Marshall tone circuitry of treble, middle, bass and presence control.

The GH100L is a single channel master volume style head with foot switchable gain. It is capable of a huge variety of sounds, from sparkling clean through powerful crunch to full on monster tones and everything in between. As well as astounding tone these heads offer a valve-coupled effects loop and link jacks for slaving several heads together. The GH100L features an ECC83 equipped preamp and EL34 output section.
